Oregon introduced Rob Mullens as its new athletic director on Thursday. Mullens was Kentucky’s deputy director of athletics.
He steps into a job in which one of his top priorities will be dealing with a football program that suffered through a rash of arrests and other problems over the last year.
But while Mullens voiced a belief that all student-athletes should grow both socially and intellectually, he also noted this:
“One of the things that attracts me to the University of Oregon is folks are not afraid to say, ‘We want to win championships.’ ”

Good thing we passed. He was actually my favorite for the job, maybe mike bohn knew something we didn't.
